A fused clapton has 2 base wires instead of one. It gives it a flat/oval shape instead of round and increases surface area. It also greatly increases the amount of metal you are heating up when you hit the button.
A clapton coil is a single core (strand) of wire with a thinner wire wrapped around it. A fused clapton coil is two cores of wire (2 strands) parallel to each other with a thinner gauge wire wrapped around it. Ill add a picture of a fused clapton parallel to a standard clapton. The fused looks bigger than the smaller one.
