I love the classifieds. I have purchased e-liquid, atomizers, cartomizers, batteries, and mods. I have only been burned twice, but that could have been prevented if I had done some checking on the sellers. One was being banned from the forum as my payment was being made.
I have also sold a few items. The items I have sold, and I have more to sell, were in great working condition. Yes, "working" condition. I just was not using them since my addiction to bottom feeders.
I am busy, working 47 hours a week and taking care and exercising our herd of misfits. I get frustrated when something is listed as used, and some expect it to be pristine. If a prospective buyer wants something in new condition, then maybe the classifieds are not the place to shop.
Not really sure if I said exactly what I wanted, or the way I wanted, but it is getting to be my bedtime.

Classified Rules as per condition:

Brand New - Never Used, sealed or in factory condition.
Like New - Used once or twice to try out, but still in excellent condition.
Great Condition - Used several times, but still in great working condition.
Good Condition - Used regularly, but still in good working condition.
Broken - No longer working, but in usable condition for mods.

I think these give advantage to a seller in listing an item for sale.
When I see "working condition" I understand that it works period.
Appearance seems to be left to the seller to describe in as much or as little detail as they see fit.
I think most sellers try to describe the "appearance" of the item truthfully even if it means pointing out there may be small amounts of "damage" to a finish or a small dent.
But we as buyers must be aware that some will not describe past saying an item has been used. We must rely on pictures and realize that there might be "wear and tear" that is not mentioned.
I have bought "used" items that were very near new in appearance. I have also bought "used" items that showed typical wear and tear for their age.
Discretion is the better part of valor.

As a buyer on the classifieds, if I am at all worried about the appearance (like an expensive mod) I will specifically ask the seller for it's condition and a picture. I'd it's a used ego battery I expect to see some scuffs and scratches unless it is advertised as like new.

When I sell things I like to include pictures and be very descriptive of any and all damages/ wear and tear to avoid any confusion or buyers regret.

No excuse for no pics. Sure eveyone doesn't have a camera or cellphone camera... Sorry that seemed funny...but I guess its possible but for an expensive mod you must know someone that can take a pic for you. If not and I don't the seller then I wouldn't consider buying it. Btw, besides the feedback list I'd check their friends list too...just say'n.
