clean cartomizers are drawing hard

Well,
I finally needed to clean some cartomizers to get ready for refilling.I double boiled them.First time and second time for five minutes.I let them air dry.Now when I went to fill them up I found that they draw very hard.There is just no way to explain how hard it is to pull on them.So what went wrong?Are they clean?Is there something wrong with the filler,like it is not fluffy anymore?Could the center tube that runs down the middle be jammed up?Has anybody else had this happen and can I still fix these cartomizers? Any suggestions?

Center tube misalignment is pretty common. Try gently pushing a straightened paper clip up the tube, from the bottom, or down from the top. You don't want to break the little wire that you'll normally see over crossing the tube edge.

Okay,but I don't see a wire through the center hole.These are bloog cartomizers.

Bloog cartomizers are horizontal coils they are very similar to a conventional atty. Boiling doesn't necessarily clean the coil, you can try ultra sonic cleaning which will remove far more debris from the coil. If after ultrasonic cleaning throw them away when the draw gets tight, they are disposable and cheap.
