I'm new here so hello everyone!
I've been using the Clean Cig brand of e-cigs since August of last year (2011). If you're not familiar with the brand, they simply contain a battery and disposable atomizers. You can get 5 atomizers for 9-11 bucks depending on the store you buy them from. They've also recently opened a website from what I understand.
At first, I wasn't so sure about using them because I wasn't convinced they could help me quit smoking. When I finally decided to quit, I went 48 hours cold turkey and then started using these. I haven't had a real cig since, after 12 years of smoking. They make 4 or 5 different kinds at different strenghts and I've alternated from medium to high to medium again. It seems to help by alternating and using the high all the time isn't something I would recommend.
The atomizers from this particular brand can last anywhere from 1 day to 1 month, depending on how much you use it. They charge via USB and there hasn't been any problem on that end and the chargers themself seem to be nearly perfect at not over-charging the batteries.
I hadn't really paid too much attention to those details until I heard about the e-cig that exploded in Florida or wherever it was and then I thoroughly monitored these, lol. And, as someone that has a 10+ year background in computer hardware/software, I am pretty good at being able to tell when USB ports are strained. If you're using a computer newer than 2003ish, you shouldn't have to worry too much as long as you're not using anything modded.
Just thought I'd share that with everyone.
