I just switched to vaping about a month and a half ago and I love it! After trying a few pen types I bought the Kanger Subox and I couldn't be happier. I use the .5 ohms vertical coils and am just wondering if there is anyway to give them a cleaning to prolong the life of them. Can I soak them in hot water or will that ruin them? Also is there any tutorials on rebuilding the vertical coils? All I can find is rebuilds for the horizontal ones.

Thank you in advance for any help

The Vertical coils that came with your Subbox would be very difficult to rebuild. The old OCC are easy to rebuild, and the build deck on the Subbox is easy to build vertically or horizontally. I haven't heard of anything to prolong the life of the Vertical Coils, but you might try soaking them in vodka for a few days then air dry before use.

The good thing about the subtank is you can just you rba heads designed for rebuilding instead of trying to reuse heads designed to wear down.

Unfortunately, they haven't yet designed a vertical coil rba head YET, but the next step in the evolution is a multitude of rba coil head designs.

Agreed, I own both the V1 and the V2 RDA heads and haven't bought a coil yet.
