I've read til my eyes are blurry about cleaning my attys and there are way too many versions. Why don't we know which is the best?
Check out this thread...
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ion/97014-facts-about-cleaning-atomizers.html

I tried the warm water and didnt dry it like one thread said because like they said, it lives in moisture and comes lubed, maybe it shouldn't dry out, huh? I didn't get an instruction book with mine. what does that say to do?
An atomizer that is wet (from water being in it) won't really work at all.

I cleaned my 801 atty yesterday, I boiled it, use compressed air to dry the atty, let it sit the whole night, when I use it, the taste is horrible, lilke there's no taste at all, only vapor coming out, I puff it 5 times, drip 3 drops of juice, puff again still nothing, another 3 drops, puff, nothing, I did it maybe 4 times already the taste is building up agonizingly slow..., how many drops of juice does it required to prime an atty ? Especially the big atty like the 801's

If your wick is still wet it will not wick juice.

Compressed air doesn't dry the atty (assuming you are using a compressor). It comes out cold enough to cool the atomizer to the point that additional water will condense out of the air.

Sounds to me like your wick may still be wet with water. In which case I would take a hair dryer to it. Vaping the water out, as steam, is a slow process and tastes bad.

I've heard that an air compressor can ruin your atty's is this true?

Full air pressure out of a a air compressor will mess up some atomizers depends how they are made. Blowing from the threaded end will pop the guts out of some. Learned that one from personal experience. If the compressor has a dryer on it there shouldn't be to much moisture in the air. Also if you live in a desert like me there is not much humidity in the air so it is of less concern. I dont use compressed air any more i use straight up PGA to clean them i blow them out with my lung power then bake @ 200f for about a hour. They come out dry as can be.
