Cleaning Cartos

[Triage]

I've seen a number of posts where people talk about boiling their KR808 carts to clear old flavors out of them. When I tried, they all ended up matted together inside. I'm pretty sure this prevents the juice from filling/wicking properly (which would explain why the 2 I've tried so far went from tasty to burnt so quickly). I think I need to do more to dry them than just leaving them sit on paper towels all night.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to dry them so they fluff up again for re-use?

You have to blow the water out of them.There are lots of video and info in the kr808 or V4L subforums.

I rinsed 10 of them last night. I might put them in the oven this evening, but
I'm not going to rush, I really want them as dry as possible.

I jus rinse em in hot tap water and blow em out too.

I let them soak overnight in water mixed with vodka or everclear, then rinse them, blow out the water and let them dry for a couple of days.

ok.... I had thought I'd seen some people talking about blowing them out with canned air or air compressors or something, so figured that was why just plain blowing and letting them sit didn't have good results.
