Cleaning Dual Coil Cartos?

So I just purchased a bunch of stainless Dual Coil Cartos and Ego Mega Dual Coil Cartos from COV and I have been trying to find info on the best way to clean them. Some have said boiling and/or drying in an oven. Others just say rinse them with water, blow out and dry overnight. I know you can slide the casing off the clear ones and I've heard some say you can do that with the metal ones as well but I don't want to try that and break something. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

There are several methods and most people try a few of them to find what works best for them. Taking them apart, cleaning, dry burning and putting them back together is tricky and has mixed results so most people seem to opt for simpler methods for these disposable products.

If you want an easy way to clean, there are various syringe assisted methods are great to flush hot water through a carto quickly to remove old e-liquid. Check out a few of the kits that you can make yourself

Another option which many have had good success with this child's medication syringe to clean cartos which is available at most drug stores (Walgreens).

Many use either PGA or good quality ISO alchohol (91 proof) for running through the cartos after hot water flushes to displace water and shorten drying time which can allow you to immediately refill the cartos. As inexpensive as they are, treat yourself to a new one, and then vape on that cleaned carto to compare it. Nothing beats a fresh carto. I figure I'm worth the new one, and the cleaned cartos go in the "in case of emergency" box.
