Yup. I followed the technique exactly as described in the thread on this forum.

And they've had the burnt taste since you got them? That's odd. Maybe the wick material is inserted wrong. Have you tried removing the wicks on any of them? I find that helps a lot with the burnt taste. I just got a bunch of fruity flavors from FSUSA, and I really wanted to avoid that burnt taste, so I removed the wicks and I have yet to have any strong burnt taste at all.

That's the post/technique I already used. Made no diff.

I have no desire to mess with the wicks, and in fact, I've already examined them pretty closely. They don't appear to be any different from the other attys I have which taste fine.

Are your sure you removed any rubber built around the coil?

Sometimes the wick is tricky with flavors. Before leaving, you can remove the wick, so the atty is unable to hold residual liquid. I do not recommend removing the wick if you are using carts, only if you are dripping with it.
