the taste was off on one of my dual coils so i decided i'd try to pop off the tube and fix it without breaking one attempting to drip with it, so i popped the tube off, unwrapped the pollyfill and saw the wick material was pretty burnt, about half of it was wrapped arround the air tube things and the other half arround the coils so took em off and dry burned the coils then i pulled i pulled off the burnt parts of the wick material carefully and rewrapped them arround the coil upside down so it was like fresh material on the coil then rewrapped the polyfill and popped the tube back on and it's perfect back to normal 
slightly harder draw but not by much.
made this thread because i know some people were sketched about doing this with there dc's and wanted to let em know it worked out for me would still keep a carto condom on the battery end though if you leave it overnight so that it doesn't leak, i ruined one awhile ago trying to drip with it and rewrapped and filled with some nasty juice so i could test the leaks after doing something like this and it was fine for the most part unless i let it just sit there overnight then there would be a little leakage
