Hello all,

I placed my first order with wizard labs for some DIY gear. Amongst pg vg flavorings nic juice also some syringes and bottles and their nicotine test kit. I ordered pg 18 mg juice as currently I vape 8 mg that will go a long way and avoids having to handle the higher mg stuff. I will test all my mixes with the kit to ensure safety as much as possible...not very keen to blindly trusting a bottle label and my calculations or mismeasurements.

My question is... Do you guys use syringes specifically for your nic juice and separate syringes or droppers for your other liquids ie vg and pg or do you wash them and consider it safe to use else where later? This question also pertains to my test kit as the reactant in the kit is sulfuric acid. Just want to make this as safe as possible... I have dealt with harsher chemicals before so my only concern is this is something I am inhaling.

TL:DR do I label and keep a syringe for each fluid specifically or can I clean and rotate them all for mixing purposes without worrying about mixing them providing I clean them well.

Lastly, what is the best method for cleaning these items to ensure all traces of the chemicals are removed.

thanks in advance and sorry for rambling

I also ordered my first diy supplies from wizard labs just wait till you see how well everything is packaged. As far as cleaning is concerned I just rinse everything well in deionized water distilled would work also but I have an unlimited supply of deionized. When I am making diy liquids I generally use the same syringe with a quick rinse between different flavors, nic, and pg. It all ends up in the same place I just try to keep the cross contamination to a minimum. As far as the acid is concerned good ventilation is key acid can really take your breath away. Good luck diy is the best part of this hobby.

What acid are you referring to?

Never mind, you are referring to the test kit and i thought you were using it in a mix or to clean. YIKES....

I always keep a seperate syringe for nic juice( which is VG and 100mg/ml). Partly because it has a 10 guage needle and is 5 ml. The syringe I use for VG is a 10 ml syringe with a 10 guage needle.
These are cleaned and stored separately from my other syringes which are of various sizes and guage needles. The other syringes are used for flavorings and for PG. I ALWAYS wear gloves when dealing with the nic juice.
Good Luck.. AQlways keep good notes, wear gloves and be careful with nic juice.

I do have separate stuff for nic. I work with pure nic so it is kind of better to keep it on the safe side. Especially as I tend to make batch of base with nic and then to mess with flavors as needed. And that "mess with flavors" part can be messy and done on the working table and without the gloves so I don't want to think about what have I touched or left where.
