Nice pics torque! I just bought a new GGTS today and now if can get one of those beautiful woodies, my life will be complete

Looks like what I was doing earlier
Mine was a little more problematic...received 2 ody's that had some menthol run through them. It took a 2 hour alcohol soak and a torching before the menthol taste was gone.
Soap and water just wouldn't cut it.

axaxa, mine too river. Torq's work is so nice. I will ask him soon to make some for me and you for sure
Thats a two tone Walnut Burl with the lighter colored sapwood which is really part of the bark. Dense burl will have clouds and landscapes in it, thats the beauty of wood.
