I use 91% IsoPropyl Alcohol for my first 'dip' if you would. I take all the components including the Heads and strip the down. Well that's just a matter of removing the two simple pieces on the head to remove. I leave the Tube on the Base. Don't want to disrupt the structural integrity oh the Clearomizer since there are so many issues of leaking Clearos, regardless of make or model.

I will only leave the heads in longer than say ten minutes. The heads I will leave in for longer since they accumulate 'some' muck for usage on them. Usually at least an half hour. Then I would take the heads and throw them in the sane water as everything else.

IPA does the Trick since it's just as effective and way cheaper than buying Ethyl.

After taking everything out of the water I dry-burn the coils and wicks. This takes place around four times a week or more. Like I stated in another thread I'm pretty vigilant about keeping my equipment clean since I don't have an income.

My daily juice is a light gold colored Marlboro flavor. About 3 days on a clearo and I can see the light gold color start to darken at the bottom of the tank, because I never let it get to rock bottom before refilling it. So, after 3 or four days I break it down, run the atomizer/wicks under hot but slow running water, working the wicks clean with my fingers and lightly blowing water through the atomizer itself. I dry it lightly with a paper towel, lightly blow out any remaining water, dry out the tube, dry everything off gently and put it back together. I then refill it, giving it the standard couple of minutes for the wicks to get juice up into the head, then I start vaping away.

No down time and so far no problems with my method. They perform and taste like new.
