When I got my second 306 drip tip it was a clear one.
I didn't really like it at first because it threw off the whole look of my rig.

After using it for a few days though I find it nice to see how much juice is left.
I find myself getting 6-7 hits per 3 drips as opposed to 4-5 when i cant see.
With my black one, I wind up flooding it a few times a day and have to blow it out.

Just my thoughts, so if you don't mind the look they are pretty handy IMO>

You can actually see how much juice is left on the atty?

Could also be referring to what is left clinging to the sides. The metal tips (most notably the stainless steel) have a surface that helps to shunt the drops down into the atty - particularly those machined to funnel it all to the center, whereas the delrins can get coated and/or a drop may stick halfway down and block other drops until heavy enough to push through (requiring tapping/blowing stuck liquid down). I noticed a similar phenomena with some white 510 tips that I got from Cignot last week that are actually translucent white as opposed to solid white or transparent. As I dripped, I could actually see the liquid running down to the atty from the outside, but without the visual detail had the tip been completely clear. Was considering getting some clears myself for the heck of it to see what is happening! :p :)

Oh ya, its a 306 atty so you can see the whole thing. You can tell when the wick is getting dry and everything.

I even hold it at an angle with the wick on the down side so it picks up the last of the juice.

You don't have a clue what going on in a 510 att.

^^ Ya, I am going to have to get me a half dozen of those. It looks like I am a 306 atty guy now till something better comes along. I only have 2 306 tips right now, and one of them is going to get chucked with the atty when it dies. Its stuck on there but good. At least it quit leaking a few days ago .. so its all good.

Going to try some Cisco LR 306 with my next order, do you notice much difference?

How well do they fit on the 306s and where did you get them? I had heard about some of the 306 drip tips fitting so tight that it was difficult to pull them off so I stayed with some black ones and they seem to fit good - not too tight but mostly tight enough not to leak. I did also note that there are apparently a couple different versions of 306s (Cisco vs Joye) that might be making the difference on how the tips fit (I got a bunch of Joye ones on sale at electronic-ash).

Edit - saw that yours are tight! :(

Yup Big Hitter. I am using the colored and twisted ones from Nhaler on my Cisco 306's:

Colored and Twisted 306 Drip Tips

They cost a bit more but the quality is there and if it is a "look" thing these bad boys help overcome it.

$6.00 each or 3 drip tips for $15.00 + $4.00 shipping? They are nice, but way out of my price range.

Yes they fire a little quicker than the standard LR 306's and each of the six 306's I have all ohmed out at 1.5 on the nose except one that was at 1.45. I would estimate I get a 5-10% better vape on Cisco's LR vs. standard LR
