Clear Juice Discoloration

I've been vaping a few clear liquids from MBV in my Protank and I've noticed that when I get about half way through the liquid, the color of the juice starts to change to a slight brown caramel color. The flavor stays the same just the color changes.

Could this be due to residue around the wick and coil leaking through to the juice in the tank? I'm assuming this is normal, right?

I have the same thing happen with my carto tank, I believe its normal....

yes, it's normal. It's just the heat of the coils cooking the juice.

As others have said it's normal, but as soon as the flavor turns it's time for a clean and dry burn to de-gunk the coil.

It's normal, and you're right, it's runoff of residue from the coil doing it. Some juices, even though they're clear will gunk up coils pretty fast. I've noticed it a lot with sweeter flavors and anything "gummy" that seems to caramelize on the coil a bit.
