Clear juice turning dark as I vape...

Hi,

I've been vaping exclusively for over two years and have never seen this happen before so thought I'd ask.

For the last week or two I've been only using clear/light-coloured liquids (Apple, Peach & Mint) and when I fill the tank the liquid is, at first, translucent, as it is in the bottle.

However, as I vape and the tank level gets lower, the liquid turns darker and darker until the last 1 mil or so (5 ml tank) is a dark brown colour.

I was wondering if anyone knows why this has suddenly started happening? Is it maybe scorching/burning the liquid? I try to avoid dark liquids since they clog up coils too quickly in my experience.

Nothing has changed as to set-up. The only thing that has changed is that I tried out the straight-to-lung vaping technique and liked it so now do that but I can't see how that could have affected it.

When this happens to me, a dirty coil is always the culprit.

That's what happens as you heat liquids like PG and VG. It's normal.

But it's a brand new coil put in only a few days ago...

All my clear juices have darkened over the course of the tank. All flavors. All manufacturers.

I think it is the nic oxidizing seen the same with some of My light colorued juice
