Ive been using the smoktech shorty cartos for around 6 months now. I love how they work, they're very reliable as I've never even had a dud. I bring them to work in my pocket and they never break.
Normally I order the black or silver ones. This time I decided to try the clears. Big Mistake
They are completely different and completely garbage. I received them yesterday and am on my 3rd already. The first one I filled up and got about 5 or 6 hits before all of a sudden I got the worst dry hot burn your throat hit. This never happened with the silver or black ones. So i put a few drops in like I would normally do and it leaked so bad it was all down the sides of the battery. OK well if that much leaked out it must have enough in it for a few hits right..wrong..second hit destroyed my throat. I can't get more than 1 hit before its beat and I can't put any drops in it without it leaking all over.
It was the same story with the second and third. Also I put my ecig in my pocket and when I pulled it out the plastic tube was off the carto. It came apart in my pocket after 5 minutes. These are completely different cartos than the black and silver ones. The box was different looking, the build quality is different and they don't work the same.
So to sum up. I take them to work with me in my pocket for 6 months and never had one break. I've never had a harsh hot hit off them. They only leak a little bit out of the center post with I put 1 or 2 many drops in, not a big deal. I never had a dud so I trust them enough to order 1 pack every week or two without worrying about backups.
The clear ones are the exact opposite of all that. They are a completely different carto. I'm now using the used up silver cartos from my previous order and they are still working well enough to be better than the garbage clear ones.
