Clearome Repairable Tank

I just emailed Tonio, and got a quick reply that my clearome is done! I got in on the new scubagen co-op I like that its stainless steel not aluminum like the clearome but like you said its huge and not flat bottomed. It won't look right on my p16, p18. That's why it will be used while sitting at home, fill it up once/twice a week.

Yeah, it was more a general response I guess to all the whining going on recently... I was in a mood.

You know, that's exactly what I wanted to do with mine.. the problem is that the one part has the center post that actually sets the length of the device, so I don't think you will even be able to shorten it. The other issue I have with the scubagen, that I didn't even see before I ordered, is that the bottom isn't flat, to sit flush with devices, it's actually sloped which looks really odd.

Actually I intend to literally CUT out a section of the center tube and weld it back together. Not too difficult really, just have to make sure that the bottom is level when I weld it. Then of course the wick, and bottom section of polycarbonate tubing will be shorter.

It might be tough/impossible to get it back together 100% straight, the tolerances are really tight! Remember these are precision machined.

They're aiuminum? Huh, I thought they were stainless steel. Well, that settles that.. I won't order any aluminum parts anymore, so I guess that's a pass for me.

If one were to utilize a tight sleeve it should work out perfectly.

Good luck getting a sleeve with tight enough tolerances.That would be a .3" id sleeve. The thicker the wall the less e-liquid your tank can hold.

I don't know if or when I'll ever see the clearome I ordered. Tonio got a new machine and is having trouble turning it on....

I suggest no one order this, I ordered on June 29 and have yet to receive it. I have tried contacting him again multiple times this week with no response.

Lol do you still have your clearome? I sold mine after one use it wasn't worth it imo

and something else.the hole to put the wick to tank if you turn it up side down

It was not wicking well with the liquid I was using.
