Alright im a little worked up right now so ill try to get this out.

Just recieved a new shipment of CE2-X clearomizers. Had high hopes for these but im having problems with these and i didnt even get out of the gate yet!

Filled an XL clearo with ejuice then proceeded to fill a regular size with the same juice, was really just testing them out to see how they worked. Put down the full reg and picked up the XL and it literally cracked completely! I didnt even use the thing yet!! Were talking 3 minutes tops and the tube is in 10 pieces.

Blown away by what i was seeing, i checked the regular size i just filled, Hair line cracks starting to show in that too!?! Within 2 minutes of actual use the regular one cracked just like the first.

This is crazy! I got 6 boxes of these from gotvapes.com and i am feeling like i got absolute junk? Any ideas why this might happen and so quickly? Ive had clears crack on me, but that was also after days of constant use and travel. I didnt even get to use either of these?

Thanks for reading.

This happened to mine I just received from the same company. For some reason my drip tips don't fit like they do on other Clearo XL's I've ordered. I'm just using the black rubber end piece for now.

I also have mixed feelings on this extra-thick wick. I un-twisted it in one of carts and it seems to be wicking better.

Im using vapor bomb green apple if that makes any difference? If its the liquid doing this thats gonna be a real problem since its all i vape these days..

Spivey, what liquid were you using when the cracking occured?

jj2, i appreciate the information, I wouldnt have a problem modding it, but i would like to get some use out of the stock product before doing so.

A good friend of mine on here told me that any juices that contain malic acid (sic), a souring agent will cause even the best of clear tubing to break. Green apple is a biggie for malic acid. He did a test where he filled a map tank, with green apple, and just let it sit. Never vaped it at all, and I believe he said on the 3rd, he looked and it was completely covered with hairline cracks, from the inside. I think the syringe tubes would be a good fix, as they aren't made of the same material as the factory tanks.

Green Apple has been a culprit for many people. Have you tried any other juices and seen what happens?

It's still early and the CE2-X are just getting into vapers hands. It could be that the cracking is only for a Very small percentage of e-Juices. Or it could be the same old song and dance we saw the first go around with the Clearo's.

Just have to wait and see what other vaper's have to say.

RY-4 and Firecracker (Puresmoker's cinnamon flavor). With the talk of the acid-like quality of some flavors I can see the Firecracker causing the cracking, but not the RY-4.

From what I understand, it’s not the acids that make clearo tubes crack, it’s esters formed by alcohols. And many e-Juices have alcohol in them to give them “pop”.

By alcohols do you mean pg & vg or grain alcohol. I have been cleaning mine with grain alcohol before using.
