I lost 2 clearos to a juice. They both shattered a day after filling them. I thought the first time it happened I must have done something to crack the plastic that I was unaware of. Did I step on it? Was I rough with it? I filled a second with the same juice and the same thing happened. I read somewhere that certain juices will destroy clearos. I just bought a tankomizer and put cinnamon in it, only a few hours later to read that cinnamon can cause the integrity of plastic to fail. I promptly emptied it and washed it out. How do I know if the juice I'm using is compatible with a clearo? I'm particularly worried about this tankomizer because it wasn't cheap. Any suggestions?

Heya Woof...
For the most part, any juice that's citrus-like (lemon, lime, orange, and even some vendor's green apple flavors) as well as pretty much all cinnamon are going to maul clearos made from polycarbonate. There's a great blog post by The Ocelot here on the ECF, covers a lot of the basics that you may want to know.

I'll direct you to the post that has this info for you.. good things to know : http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/403034-new-polyethylene-tanks.html

So far, I've had some MBV green apple in an old Ce3 for about a week without any cracking, so either this green apple flavor seems at least safe in the ce3's.

Take a gander at the other thread, see if it helps:toast:

MBV reports that their Cinnamon Roll is NOT a tank cracker. And, as an aside, I've had their Ecto Cooler in my Bullet Tank clearo for nearly a week without incident. I'm willing to risk a tank on the Maraschino Cherry as my next experiment.
