I use a 20-gauge needle on a luer lock syringe. I got a needle-tip bottle from gotvapes, but the syringe works better.

I fooled around with removing the innermost seal to fill, but I was never confident I was seating it properly when replacing, and that can interfere with wicking.

If you line up the two small holes on the seal so they are opposing the wick grooves, they work fine. Even if they are a bit off center, they still work ok. Use the rear of a ballpoint pen to push the seal onto the cup securely, shine a torch into the carto to ensure the seal is sitting flush.

If you use a seal from an earlier Revision, that's when they interfere with the wick. Learnt that the hard way lol.

I flipflop back and forth between drippin' and smart carts. I had 5 clearomizers in my stash from when I first started (4 Mos ago) and decided to fire one up w/ RY4. I never had any problem fillin' them (steel needle through the two tiny holes) and i forced my drip tip into it without it crackin' (so far). Well it's not drippin' flavor but tons of vapor. I think they were 2.8 to 3.? ohms and make a lot of sizzle! It started out tastin' a little burnt (ok) now I guess. Meh, flavor is sub par, back to drippin' I guess. My Silver bullet will be here next week and so starts another learning curve. Anybody want some clearomizers and 15 mils each of JC Original and Tenn Cured? I want some low res Attys.

I use 80/20 juice with them, I take out the seals right down to the ceramic cup, tilt them to the side and drip juice in to fill them, moisten an aluminum drip tip with some juice and push it in and I'm GTG. I have had no leaks at all except for the XL that cracked at the base. The most irritating thing is when the plastic tube comes loose from the connecter at the bottom...

BUT..I won't buy any more, I'm now using the dual coil cartos and I'm in love =) There are many vendors who sell them, so use your favorite vendor, it just happens that I got mine at nhaler

^ but those dual coil carto's still have the filler material right? That's the great thing about the CE2's, no filler, perform better, don't clog up, healthier, etc..

I've stopped using the clearomizers for now and went back to the metal CE2's, until they strengthen the clearomizers properly or create metal ones with a small plastic window (miniature giantomizer), or until something new and exciting without filler comes along

I have had the same experience as most of the post.

I dont replace any O rings at all and have just gotten good at sitting my mods upright. If its not completely full they can lay on their side and the juice will not clear the edge of the drip tip anyway. Just have to be careful to upright them slowly or it will create a leak at the bottom of the carto.

I have recently made a order of the stainless because the right clearo's are getting hard to come by. And I am getting sick of popping the cylinder off when I remove some of my tighter fitting drip tips. Wasted a lot of juice like that. It's my hope that the clearo's have been a sort of learning aid (training wheels) for loading the stainless. Time will tell.
