Hello,

I recently noticed that I have been using the same 2 Vision Ego Stardust v2 clearomizers for nearly 6 months, even accounting for the fact that I use one in my 'work' PV (Ego battery passthrough) and one at 'home' (home built box mod at around 3.9v) that is still approx 3 months of use for each, and I get through around 3-6 ml of juice a day depending on my opportunity to vape.

My question for the experts is - is this healthy, and are there any issues with using them for this long? They still vape just as well as when they were brand new, the juice tastes good, and I get plenty of vapour.

Hi Narcof and Welcome to ECF,

I'm not an 'Expert'.
This is how see it:
If the Clearomizer is being Cleaned Regularly, i.e. washed, dry burned, rewicked and coiled, and so long as the tank isn't degrading or discolouring significantly, I personally don't see a problem.
Well done for getting the best out of them and making last as long.:)

The only ones that I've tossed were the original V1's that didn't have the alignment spike at the top of the atty. The V1's with the spike (or were they V2's or V3's) I've had to use Ambroid Pro weld to fix the cracks in the tanks, but they still work fine. The V4 rebuildable Stardust was a huge improvement (or are they V5's) BTW did you know that there is a new V5 out now that doesn't have a wick at the top? (or is it V6)

For me the bottom line was that a $6 Stardust had to outlast a $7 box of cartos before there was a cost advantage.
I'm now waiting to see if they can out last the $7 atties that I'v been using for over a year.

I'm new here clearly, but I have a feeling 6 miles a day going in is helping them last longer due to coil constant use and almost a perpetually wet wick so no drying or decaying can occur.

I used 1 v2 for about z3 months with 100% vg cherry and then I started experimenting with other delivery systems (stone tanks, vivi nova, Kanger t2) and I found if one clearomizer went into disuse due to using another it wouldn't last nearly as long.

I understand this is just speculation but I feel like from my experience is use one delivery device till its dead good and proper....

Don't use it, you lose it.
