depends on where you got the atty from...can you send it back? if not...
grab yourself a pair of tweezers and try this mod:
1. with the tip of the tweezers, gently poke in the tip and tear some of the steel mesh off the bridge...you'll know you've done this right when you start to see the tip of the actual metal bridge it is covering. Once you have done that, keep plucking more at the mesh till you have a better look at the bridge...you'll know it when you see it as it's very smooth metal...
2. after that is done you'll be left with the metal bridge & some fiberglass weave. This is the surgery part. Stick in your tweezers and snugly grab the top of the metal bridge, pull on it slowly but firmly until you remove it. This is really tricky as if you dislodge the base of the atty all is likely forsaken...
3. After the bridge is removed, continue to pull out any of the fiberglass weave left (don't dig too deep as some of it sits in the actual coil) and will act as a wick - of sorts...
4. with the remaining steel mesh that sits along the sides, pull out gently what you can and then try to push the rest against the sides of the atty.
5. plug in your battery and see if the atty starts to hiss again...
if it does - you're in serious business...
now here's the good part: drip about 3 drops of your liquid dircetly into the atty and attach your cart. the vapor should be pretty amazing...
keep in mind you have to do this quickly or the liquid will leak through the atty and out the air ducts onto the battery...and also keep in mind this will be the only way you can use this atty from then on - you'll have to drip directly onto it...good for about 6-10 puffs until you have to drip again...
I've done this with a few attys now and again when I'm in the mood for some intense vapor. It's really quite something.
let me know how it goes!
