Clone 18650 mech, magnetic button....GO!

Before I blow lots of money on a new box mod, I wanna see how I like mechs. I'm no dummy and can handle the safety and such so skip the warnings please. At this point in my Vape journey, my box mod is holding me back. My best coils come out at <.2 so they just look pretty. I want an 18650 because that's the batteries I have and can get locally. I'm also in the market for a nice clone rda to pair it with. Extra points for versatility (please no adjustable) and aesthetics.

So far I like the stingrays but that crunchy button is putting me off.

so ... you are asking for suggestions on tube mechs, but not box mechs?

and the part about "<.2" are you saying that your current box mod can't fire less than 0.2ohm ?

If you want to run <0.2ohm on a mech, I'd suggest a dual 18650 box mech.
Why a dual? And no, I don't want a box. I want simple, I want something that when vaping is Jammed up with fda regulations I have a mod that's gonna last. And honestly, I think box mechs are the big kid on the playground that got beat up because he looked like shriek.

Because that single 18650 running that .2 coil while using it moderately will last you about 45 min .............

I have to agree that if you want to vape 0.2 or less, you want a parallel box mech like a Raptor clone. Reason one is safety, and reason two is battery life.

I am happiest with my tube mechs at 0.4-0.8 ohm. That's where I get a great vape and long battery life. And I love Stingrays. I have 7 Xs and 9 Stingrays altogether. Clean and lube your switch and no crunchy button.

If you want high power, better to use multiple batteries.

A dual batt box mech is very simple.

One of each :). Options are good.

Vaporrange had Infinite Stingray Xs for $15 on clearance and free shipping. That mod is identical to the authentic. They only had black left last I checked. Go get 1 or 2 if they still have them.

Then pick out a nice dual parallel box for your low ohm builds.

SmokTech Magneto - Brass
It's authentic and only $20 (cheaper at FastTech). They come in stainless as well. There's a V2 & V3 out now that come in a myriad of colors. Mag switch, telescoping, cheap, solid devices.

Vapor beast has a clear plastic dual battery parallel like the one in the pic for about $20 right now.

Any dripper will work well on a mech as long as you build it right.

I love the magneto actually, but an authentic fasttech product seems like an oxymoron to me.

If you need to ask that question, you need all those lectures you don't need.

    Amperage is why.
From 0.2 ohms to 0.1 ohms your amperage doubles from 21 amps to 42 amps. So if you're going to vape below 0.2 ohms, there is only one battery on the planet that you can use (LG HG6)

If the FDA is your reason, first I would suggest that you find a way to vape that uses less juice instead of more.
That's why my mechanicals are all set up to use 2.0 ohm coils instead of 0.2 ohm coils. (that's 2.1 amps, so I can even use a little 14500 battery if I want)
