Lots of clones have really high quality because they're attempting to create 1:1 clones of high quality gear. That said, I've had good luck with Tobeco and EHpro.
Thanks man! I'm looking to buy my first mechanical set up and not sure if I wanna drop $$$ just yet on authentic. Current set up is authentic Hana V3 and I love it, just wanna get into the mechanical side and see what that's all about
I've only had Tobeco clones and most have been really bad with the exception of my Mutation X which I do like. Their Plume Veil is especially a hunk of junk.

When it comes to clone you really need to do your "item specific" homework. I've seen great clones (as well as really bad clones) from all the clone makers.
I have heard really good things about EHpro so maybe it will be good.

In my experience hcigar has been great, I have two, one from this year, one from last year; Infinite has been pretty good; also two from about a year and a half ago; and EHPro has been OK, one from last month which was great and one from about two years ago which was a dud. It's a small sample size, and subject to personal bias, but I like HCigar the best.
Yep. It's all pretty subjective. Lots of YouTube channels that do reviews of clones. Vaping with Twisted420 does tons of them and GrimmGreen reviews quite a few as well. If nothing else, what I do is generally compare clone costs. That is, if the authentic RBA or whatever costs $100 and the clones range between $12 to $25, I aim more for the $25 clones... to some extent, you get what you pay for.
In my experience Tobeco clones are junk (RDAs, RBAs and Mods) and I will never buy another one.

This. They each have excelled with different items. So, if you want a Kayfun 4, read about all of them, and decide. Same thing if you want a Stingray mod, etc.
Infinite Clones are the best IMO. I did just recently get a no-name clone (Derringer) and its amazing quailty so you never know.
also watch out where you get your clones from. there's lots of places that are selling clones that aren't even close to 1-1.
The ones I've been looking at our through Viper Vape... All generic no logo clones by EHpro pro... I like having no logos especially if you're gonna get a clone

just go with a reputable source. this forum has been awesome to me thats why i decided to join. use the search feature as well as the recommendations of the people who have been vaping for years
Ebay is a good place to buy clones from. Find a vendor with good feedback and lots of sales and you should be good. If the product is not as described or is faulty most of the time you can get your money back or a new one as sellers do not want to get negative feedback.
I have had very good luck with the kayfun nano clone https://www.fasttech.com/p/1958800. the orchid V3 worked well for me as well https://www.fasttech.com/p/1861400 they are both inexpensive but well made units. the kayfun clone is manufactured in germany
