I recently acquired a FM copper Mech mod by Blacksmith with a Stillare rda on top. The setup was given to me by a friend which had been gifted to her, so I have no way of knowing the authenticity of either. Is there a good way to differentiate the FM from its clone or will it remain a mystery? It's also not new, which makes it more difficult to see details, such as the signature at the bottom (which is present)

Doesn't matter if it's a clone or not, as long as it works for you  I have that exact same setup (both clones) and works really good.
Yeah, I did some looking and it's a clone, and I'm really impressed by the quality. I'm usually a snob about authenticity, but I love this setup a lot so far!

as they said, some clones are made AS GOOD or in some cases BETTER than the genuine unit. always look around and check out the build and materials because there are also really bad clone manufacturers as well. it all depends on the makers. Almost all of my RTAS are clones with the exception of a few genuine products and they have been wonderful! also I saved A LOT of money buying clones!! just watch where and who is manufacturing them and they won't disappoint.:D
