nope.. we went to the churchs trunk or treat event.. it was pretty decent.. lots of good food.. a bunch of stuff for the kiddos to do.. and quite a bit of candy...

Those are always a lot of fun. The mall in Clovis did mall or treat for a few years when they first opened, I took my boys a few time. When they first started the candy was great, toward the end of it they were giving really cheap stuff.
The first year it was mostly the fun size bars and about half of them would hand me a piece too. I got abot 30 or 40 pieces Plus some of the places were giving free drinks or fries and stuff like that. The boys made a real haul.
I'm here...or rather I'm back...we had to go take the old bed to the dump...got our new one in yesterday, and boy is that thing high! I have trouble getting into it, with my bad knee I can't put weight on it or even bend it too much, so it's a real challenge! 
But the bed is wonderful and I slept great, no stiffness when I woke up at all! And I didn't fall out trying to get out either! 
Which could have easily happened since I'm a huge klutz and not used to the floor being that far away!

I'm getting sick. And I had a delayed allergic reaction to some of my halloween makeup so my face is all red and puffy and broken out. Just not feeling well today.

That's the way ours is, you get used to it. You'll figure out how to hop and land on your backside on it. My wife has to she's only 5'0"
I made the best chuck roast in the slow cooker today, seasoned with all the usual stuff salt pepper, garlic, onion, smoked ground jalepeno, and then I used some Larry the cable guy's roast beef seasoning. I made a jus using beef stock, wine, wine vinegar kitchen bouquet. Chopped up a pasilla pepper and an onion browned the roast and threw it all in and let it cook. We shredded it and made wet sandwiches with the jus. it was so juicy and good
It's funny, it's thrown the dog off too...he's a big boy so he can still jump up there, but he misjudged it a couple of times...he loves the bed though...that dog slept so soundly he was snoring all night!
Yum! That sounds delicious! We just had pizza...it was good, but not as good as yours I bet!
I took some last night. I have a giant bottle in my house. Slept most of the afternoon today

My dog was the same way when I upgraded my bed a few months ago. So funny.

only one of ours can jump high enough to get on our bed, but we decided that we weren't letting them on the new bed so for about a year every night they'd get their feeling all hurt. They got over it
