Merry Christmas, Momma, aikanae, Keepsmiling, Angel!

Never had a stormier holiday. Why people around Chattanooga are talking about being given pools and rivers and the need to break out their kayaks and skis! Ha! We've got 6" steel gutters that overflowed! One of the reasons for adding the large back deck was so hubby could easily and regularly clean those gutters without getting on a ladder as he grew older. But! The doors and windows are open and the fans a whirling away. Short sleeves and barefoot weather not experienced since 1962 in Ft. Lauderdale.

I heard there were some unseasonal tornados due to the strange weather this year. I've never lived in tornado country and find it spooky. Stay safe!

Yup, there were a couple in MS? AL? High winds here. Lots of thunder and lightning, but mostly just heavy rain. Think we are now 11" above normal for this yr. GA probably won't want to sue for the lower 4-5 miles of TN now to get access to the TN River. They were hurting for water a couple yrs. back. Unplanned Atlanta and surrounding community growth has brought multiple problems.

Howdy mountain family. Hope everyone had a Blessed and wonderful day! We had a lovely day with family and its always fun watching the grandkids be so happy and so energetic. Need to figure out how to bottle up some of that energy! Lol

Yep, Momma. Christmas festivities hangover....or, in my case, trolling the "Official ProVari Radius" thread 'cause I was surprised yet again yesterday. Now I've got to catch up on how to work the danged thing! Were you able to make your gravy okay?

Hey, Dale. How'd your "mob bash" work out? 25 people can pretty much fill up every seat in the house!

Hope Santa brought everyone what they needed for Christmas. I didn't see a 4WD in my driveway but be careful what you wish for. A friend left his ATV with Mike for a week and he already wanted one. I guess that's the 4WD vehicle for 2015.

We have had a great holiday and I love having 2 more days off afterwards. We had a nice crowd for Christmas Eve and spent yesterday at the kids house. Missed the rest of my kids and grands though. It snowed lightly off and on all day for a white Christmas.

I see I missed a vapeversary and a Kat siting. Congrats Merryhellion!! Waving to KatDarling!!

So today is cold - about 8 degrees for a high - and will be filled with leftovers, movies and the puppies. If I could just get Mike off that ATV out there.

Been catching up on a lot of missed sleep with a nice, long nap. Now it's time to get a few things done and eat something. Have only had two cookies today

Happy Day After Christmas! Glad to hear everyone had a nice day!

Ms. C, your day sounds a lot like mine... movies, puppy (I only have one) and snow. No ATV here. Hope he's having fun!

We're in the 'biggest storm of the year' nicknamed Goliath. (Silly weather people. ) So far it's just a lovely snow that's turned everything smooth and white. I'm hoping we won't get the awful wind that's supposed to hit a little later. I'll be quite happy to have that part of the storm stay out on the high plains.
We've made sure all our batteries are charged... just in case the power goes out. I've got a big pot of frito pie we can heat up on the wood stove, lots of candles and a huge selection of books to choose from, so we should survive, comewhatmay. Man, I hope the power doesn't go out.

Chooch - hope the rain stop soon for you! In the meantime... just keep swimming!

Kayte! Just keep yourselves warm and "lit". The only thing I really miss when electricity goes off is a lamp to read by.

Not a good swimmer, but can do "tubing" pretty well. Ha! Yesterday was almost 4" of rain. Ugh!

Oh by heavens, I'll take that ice cream, nut, chocolate goodie! Dale, do not "tough" out pain if you've got the medication handy. We're supposed to be "advanced" in our treatment of pain. Lord knows, there's enough "pain pills" floating around for its treatment.
