Well I ended up not being such a bad girl after all. I decided to forego the SX Mini, even though it was a great deal. Instead I just decided to order a bunch of stuff to start to DIY some juice. It's the last thing I haven't really tried yet, so figured it was about time. Even with buying that and the new Subtank and coils, still spent way less than I would have on the SX.

Is nickel wire only for use with temperature control devices?
Yes and no. Ni200 is considered non-resistance wire and is used for leads in nr-r-nr wires like those used in the Ithaka RTA. If, however, ni200 is used for the entire coil the resistance is too low for most batteries to handle. The level TCR (temperature coefficient of resistance) makes it ideal for temperature control. BUT temperature control is an extraordinarily misleading title... it should be called temperature protection. The device cuts power off before the resistance rises too much indicating a similar rise in temperature.

All packed for VaperCon West! Narrowed it down to two IPV2s and my new-to-me MVP 3.0 with my Freakshow, Goblin and Herakles.
I spent the better part of the day cataloging my vape gear. Don't think I'd be able to narrow anything down...

I'm up early, Wifey wasn't doing well and woke me up. I need to get some more sleep after I get her settled in again.

Mac I hope you doing well and staying safe!
Sorry jpf, hope you were able to get some sleep.

You too Mac.
