Good afternoon all. Day off W here. Adulting most of the day. Now time for dinner and movie night later.

Haha...got my green on!

Dang it did not get to pinch anyone, and I did not wear green and did not get pinched.

Oh they have not been bad dreams slm, just saying not of shiny things. More like just weird short stories.

Day started off fast while leaving a lady comes out with a walker and her little puppy is leading her, I pull back slow and before going forward hear her loudly and stop. Puppies ears came up when it heard the car turn on and thought oh what a big friend I want to meet it. So I get out and it runs up to me and I take it back to her, she set it back on its leash. Had to work with Gangster today and made a compromise and set the radio on a channel we both agreed with, kept him in a better mood and his cussing way down. We actually achieved a lot and people are starting to call me the party, and hope I am on their team for the radio.... well and the work. Let the weekend begin.

Been a busy week at W - constant go. At least no big problems with my stuff. HQ pushed a supposed upgrade app to my machine late in the day - don't think it's set up properly but was too close to quitting time to worry about it - it'll still be there M.
Spent too much time and money at the grocery store again. Trying to get caught up with house stuff and need to find something for dinner but had to sit down for a bit.

Well, it was going to be a nice night... I had soccer practice for both kids. My daughter left with her friends from her team and I was to bring my son to their house for a movie night after his practice... My wife decided to stop at the store to pick up a few things for our dinner, but got a text from another of my daughter's friends about something my daughter did at school. I'm not sure what it was (yet!), but it made my wife angry enough that she dropped what she was buying, got in the car, and headed to the friends' house where my daughter is. As she was driving past the soccer field, she noticed my car in the lot and saw us packing up after practice and stopped to grab my son: "I'm heading over there to make our daughter fix something, so I might as well take our son over there as well," she told me.

That was an hour ago and my wife still isn't home. This can't be good....

And we're still one year shy of the actual teen years!

Hopefully everything is better today. A good friend of mine slipped and fell yesterday and gave herself a concussion. Tweaked her neck pretty bad too.

The situation turned out to be the beginnings of teen drama between friends: being stupid, a gently teasing note, a new friend at school, a boy(!), hurt feelings--and, somehow, outraged parents. We may have to make new carpool arrangements for a while...

Sounds like drama and who am I to say anything about that? I could write a few paragraphs for your sons paper though.... Guess you could all call me the drama queen, though I would not like it. As a writer I have to feel both sides of the sexes and write appropriately. SMH

Count, sounds like the beginnings of that roller coaster ride through the teen years...make sure to strap yourself in tight and hang on for the ride! Warning it can get quite bumpy at times.

teen years...quite bumpy at times - that's putting it mildly

Woke up with massive headache but was able to kick it quick.
Took the truck to get washed then stopped at Gander Mt to look around a bit.
Made another crock pot concoction - about another hour of cooking time left - most will head for the freezer.
Big gun show this weekend - gonna check it out tomorrow.

Morning all, decided to go out and play pool, it was fun. I won the first two games, lost the third by accidently sinking the eight ball, and then won the last ten. Down side is I came back at 12:30 and have not slept one wink, now it is going to be hard not to sleep during the day so I do not stay up tonight.

Ack, Tiggs! Make sure you go to bed early tonight so that you're not dragging tomorrow. Myself, I guess my body is getting into the rhythm of the new time change... I woke up 15 minutes before the alarm would go off on a weekday.
