Live in NYC and you can save a lot more. Premium brand cigs are about $12.50 a pack now.
And I totally missed an milestone. I have not smoked 100,000+ cigarettes.

Dang and I thought 5.40 was bad when I was out there back then they were under 2 bucks here
And I went through a lot of cigarettes. At home I'd only get a few puffs from each, the rest would burn away in the ashtray (only giving me second-hand smoke) but I always had one lit. At just over 3 packs a day, it would now cost me about $42 a day if I were still smoking. (It was a little less when I quit.) But, in the 1,500 days since I quit, I have spent an average of $3.91 on vaping. Net savings is a little more than my cost of living for a year.
