I think they've gotten lazy.....no more door to door sales
They are around grocery stores and Walmart in these parts *sigh* Unless you work with someone who has a kid or grandkid that is in the girl scouts.

I don't like buying them at the store. I think it teaches a better work ethic to go hunt down sales. But nobody ever comes to my shop or house. AND I WANT COOKIES DARN IT!

I agree. I don't buy from any of them parked outside a store front. Only thing I'll cave on is charity sales....especially veterans tables.
I just thought of another thing to look for at yard sales those old sterno powered fondu pots would be a good way to cook in a pinch,that is if you don't have a truck load of camping gear like me
Veterans sales get me too. Able bodied kids should be out pounding the pavement with their parents or troop leader. Hitting up all these little shops in my shopping center would bring them a profit I am sure!
I think they decided it was too dangerous for girl scouts to go door to door so they have to have an adult with them. A lot of the adults don't want to do it so they just take the forms to work or family.
My moms neighbors daughter still went door to door. When she went beyond the neighborhood, her mom did the motherly thing and went with her. Shame parents find it too inconvenient to do things like that with their kids anymore
Sigh. I understand the dangerous part without an adult. But these adults need to get off their lazy rear ends and teach these girls. They learn so much from the door to door sales. Okay I will end my cookie rant.
Correct, or get a group together one or two days out of the year and set up a table in front of walmart (at least thats what they do here)
