Good Morning Boggers,
I have been wanting a VW bottom feeder for the longest time; a friend told me about the Bogger box. I've been in and out of vaping for the longest time, and I think this is the ticket for me to not turn back. I've been lurking now for a couple days and went to the site. I am so confused as to how to even order one, since I really don't even understand the order menu. Could someone chime in and walk through it with me? I feel like such a dummy, but I really just don't follow what the menu is even asking me or how it applies to the finished product.I know I want a very heavily laquered(sp) product with some top and bottom cap inlay. Also, can someone tell me the time it takes to get the finished product?

BTW,Kabonga your box is beautiful!

I will be more specific where I'm having trouble. At top, there's a box asking if you want the whole box stabilized and it gives color choices. Then for the wood choices for the box below, there's another choice menu part way down and it says to chose from above the color of the stabilized wood and then proceeds to give you a number of various wood choices above it where a few have additional charges. What is the difference between the top of the page menu choice of color for whole box being stabilized than the box below where you choose your wood choice. This has me baffled,as I really don't know very much about woods to begin with.
I hope I'm not making this more confusing the way I explained it.....

The stabilized option is to have your entire mod stabilized. During the stabilization process they can add in color, if you choose. It makes the wood more durable. It sucks all the moisture out of the wood, so there shouldn't be any warping and you shouldn't be able to feel the wood grain. It tends to almost make the wood look synthetic. If done right it is a beautiful process that should last for a very very long time.

If you look at the other pages under stabilized mods there is a little more information about it. Usually they stabilize maple burl or buckeye burl woods.

Here are some images of maple burl stabilized, absolutely beautiful in my opinion. https://www.google.com/search?q=blu...LKIzs8gT05oGoCQ&ved=0CFEQsAQ&biw=1280&bih=890

Freckle,
Thanks so much for such specific information! I went back and read some more and did find out the difference about the box being stabilized and why it's specified in the wood choice section, but thanks so much for link to see what the color issue was all about. What a difference! It is gorgeous!
Now, I'll go back in and finish the process once I make up my mind what my pocket can do- decisions,decisions..;)

To answer your question about delivery, I placed an order april 26th. Marcus has not responded to me, and I have received no word from him about my order. I also ordered one that was stabilized.

I ordered mine (not stabilized, but DNA20) on April 31. I sent an email on 5/21 and received a response on 5/23 saying everything was progressing (nearing completion). He told me I would receive an email when it shipped.

That makes me feel much better that there is just a slow response. Thank you!

I got to speak to Marcus this afternoon to answer a few more questions I had. He told me that he's really been backed up as a result of the server, website kind of issues, but that he was finally catching up.

Thanks for your response,Kabonk-it's much appreciated. I finally did pull the switch this afternoon and can hardly wait to try it out. BTW, I do have one other thing I really never got clarification over. How does one change the watts or volts on this? I did see a digital panel on the inside of the back of the box and assumed it would be done from there, but I never asked about that....hope there's no screw thingy to deal with...

Now onto getting some more gear in place, once again....

I am glad to know that he is responding to someone. I still haven`t received a response from him. I show that he actually saw my message 30 mins after I sent it, which would be about 30 hours ago.

Sorry for the delay, I am not exactly sure what message you are talking about. I cannot find any email from you and surely have not found one within the past 30 hours. If you are contacting us through any other means besides the contact form on our website or replying to an order confirmation then that would explain it. We have been running behind a bit due to our unexpected website/server move but at this point we are almost completely caught back up.

We still do not have an exact release date but we are closer now than ever, We will be shipping out the test boxes in the next two weeks so it will be just a little bit after that.

Just under the display are two small tactile switches that adjust the wattage up or down so there is no screw driver needed. It is very easy to adjust it and find your sweet spot. I always vaped at around 6 volts but with my DNA20 box it has reopened my whole world to lower voltage/wattage vaping and I have now found out I love 306 atty's again. I personally have grown to love the DNA20D because the range is so great from the low end to the high end of voltage/wattage.
