I got the final coats of lacquer on it but It did not dry quite enough for me to get a good picture in the shop tonight so I will get a picture of it tomorrow where you can really see how good it looks. Please don't ever hesitate either if you have any questions about how your box is going or any question in general. I spend the majority of my mornings packing up orders and returning emails and then the rest of my day is out in the shop working on boxes usually very late into the night so sometimes I don't get to emails until I get out of the shop for the night.

You be burning the midnight oil there Marcus!

By the way mate, I meant to tell you since you have the box there and all, if you think the stainless button and drip cup look better with the wood than the black delrin then go for it and hit me for the extra 12 bucks. If it is already assembled with the black then don't worry about it a bit. I had a heck of a hard time deciding and figured it is best to just let the expert make the call. I think some of your woods look better with the black and some with stainless but no substitute for seeing it in your hands to make a decision, ya know?

I think that it would look better with the stainless hardware but the stainless is my personal preference. I will post pictures of it in both black and stainless that way you can see the difference.

I will definitely be adding some new VV's today. It always seems like there isn't enough time in the day to get everything done. I spoke with two people yesterday about possibly hiring them to help out so if they work out OK then it will help me out quite a bit time wise so I can be out in the shop more. Thank you for the kind words about my site too, I still have a ton of work to do on it and I still have a lot of new products to get added on there but I am slowly but surely getting it all done.

it's a ton of work...I've had my own small business in one form or another since 1982 and there were many times I felt overwhelmed and crazy..it gets better I promise, but yeah you're right about finding some help. If you can just be a builder and troubleshooter, your life will be better, but take your time and find someone dedicated and reliable. It can be hard to do and I would recommend against hiring anyone too young..I've always had better luck with more mature individuals who have had many jobs in the past...their expectations are usually more realistic..there's gotta be some stay at home moms or grandmoms there in NM.

I completely agree with that. I have been very reluctant to hire anyone just for that reason. At this point I am just looking for help in the packing and shipping area because that usually takes up at least four hours of my day seven days a week. I have most everything streamlined and automated but I like to personally do everything just to make sure it is as perfect as it can possibly be.

Very nice! They certainly are pieces of art, are they not?

that they most certainly are...Marcus does beautiful work and pays much attention to detail. I think the corner cutout on the bottom feeders is one of the prettiest things around and instantly identifies the Bogger brand...they seem kind of "old school" to me, which in my mind is a great compliment.Marcus also has a great eye for perfect imperfections, if you know what I mean...love my Bogger, and it won't be my last.

OK here are the pics for this beautiful Curly Koa box, Both with black hardware and stainless steel for the comparison. This box is not buffed yet but it will give you a really goo idea of how it looks.
