Cloupor 30watt newest version issues

I picked up a cloupor 30watt to replace my old one that my russian shorted and blew (deck loosend up) the latest version has gold plated/brass? 510 and adj. screw pos. pin.

one issue ive had is a 0.7 build being great at 7watts (getting too much power?) but vape quality not changing up to 30watts? and vape quality being less when put on a mech (so more than just straight battery?)

If i remember that anything under xx ohms gets straight battery power (0.6?) or was this changed in the latest version

any input would be great

They don't down regulate. So if the resistance reading is flashing, its dumping straight battery voltage.

I am noticing a strange power range on my MM, seems like the newer version is running different from the older version?
I emailed cloupor for any input or if my device is defective....

15watts=4.1
20watts=4.3
30watts=5.2

0.8ohm
7watts=4.1
15watts=4.1
20watts=4.1
25watts 4.4

30watts=4.6
