My T5 Constant fires, no matter what I use for a battery. I was told by the seller that the firmware update on the 16th will fix it... any other people experiencing this issue???

It's my understanding the firmware update will be a wattage boost. Constant firing when on or off would be a hardware issue...not firmware. Your device is not only faulty, it is dangerous and you should send it back to be replaced.
In my experience, it tends to happen when a wire has been heated up and shorted out, but to my knowlege, this hasn't happened. The buttons all perform as they should too, which confuses me, typically if there is an issue with shorting, the board would recognize this, and not operate correctly
