So,

I lost my flavor wick down the drain when cleaning from my Kanger Protank2 mini!

To improvise, I had a spare 2.5 ohm atty, which also had the flavor wick missing lol....and what I did was take tweezers and pull out the COIL WICK (the wick inside the coils), and then split that into 2 pieces of wick of equal size, in attempts to make them close to the size of the flavor wicks.

So , vaping this seems ... okay... BUT... I cant go past 4.4 volts without getting the burnt taste, whereas, with the normal flavor wicks I could turn it up to 4.8 and puff away if I wanted to and tasted great

so my question is, are the wicks different? what gives?

If your atty is 2.5 ohms @4.4V that's 7.7 watts which I wouldn't think would burn your juice. What are you vaping and what is the PG/VG ratio.

vaping halo menthol ice

I guess i meant, are flavor wicks different than coil wicks, other than their diameters? because that would explain why its burning maybe at higher voltages.
