Coilart Azeroth Squonk Mod

Hey all,
I have a question about Coilart Azeroth Squonk mod. Ive had for about 2 months. After a few weeks i noticed minor corrosion between the fire button contact and the squonk shaft. Shortly after it got much worse and i noticed there was bluish/greenish discolored paste-like juice between this contact.
My concern is how well it will hold up seeing as all the gold has now corroded off and its now working its way through the copper underneath.
My second, and perhaps more important concern is, will this gold/copper laced juice leach into my squonk bottle? That weird juice is awfully close to the lip of the squonk tube.


Anyone else experience this??

I hate zinc alloy. :/. It’s better than plastic but only just. Plastic doesn’t corrode

Its not the body of the mod thats corroding, its the 510 contact that extends down into the mod where it joins the squonk bottle tube. The gold plated button contact also has some corrosion.

aha! there's a good chance those parts are replaceable, mostly because of the type of mod it is

There won't be any problem from the gold... but if it's actually gold, it wouldn't corrode. I would wonder what the base metal is beneath the plating. I really prefer Stainless squonk parts, but that's me. As @bombastinator suggests, those parts are probably replaceable. If they are, take a look at a stainless replacement

Not sure what your contacts are, but they always needs a clean. All contact points need regular maintenance and is very important.
