Why does your coil need to be 0.2? I don't have a Subtank, but my understanding is people are generally building around 0.5 ohm on it.

6 wraps of 28g would get you in the 1.2ohm area, so twisted 28g or a parallel coil would put you at 0.6 ohm.

I don't have enough experience with Claptons to answer. The only ones I've made so far are 26g wrapped with 32g. A 5 wrap like that on a 2.5mm bit is 0.66 ohm. So my duals are 0.33 ohm.

My question is I only have 28 Guage kanthal wire right now and I'm trying to reach .2ohm
Can I accomplish this making a Clapton
Lars has added a "wire wizard" calculator to Steam Engine (as a supplement to the brilliant "coil wrapping" modeling program)... and it allows for (more detailed parallel and) Clapton build modeling. Although 28 core/28 wrap is not common for Claptons, the program accepts that gauge for entries.

You absolutely must click on the "How it Works" button in the lower left corner for a quick education on how to understand the input/outputs. For a better understanding of the baseline coil modeling program (if you've never-ever used SE before) click on the sigline hyperlink below.
