Cola Cleaning Method

I know the method of using coke/pepsi has been posted before as a cleaning method.

I just wanted to let everyone know my personal experience with it.

I have been using the same three atomizers for about a month now. Cleaning them at least once a week by washing them out with soap and water and then letting them sit in cola for about 8 hours.

So far I can honestly say that none of the cartridges, from what I can see by looking past the bridge, have any build up.

Good news

Once a week seems about right. And a little soapy water first also a good move, given it is rinsed out well.

Note that cola, lemon juice and vinegar don't work so well once an atomiser passes the 1 month-ish birthday.

Hi, this is my method to clean up the atomizer: I fill an empty cartridge with demineralized water and i smoke till vapor exits! Just 2 times every week.
Sorry for my my English, i'm Italian.

I figured that, when I smoked analogs, I used Windex to clean off the nicotine from the TV and windows, etc., (it seemed to just melt the nicotine on those surfaces) so I sprayed the atomizer with it, then ran hot water over it. It seemed to work well...has anyone else tried this?

I heard that someone put gin in the cartridge and vaporized it...He said he got to feeling pretty good...has anyone tried that? I think he's telling me a big, fat story! That just seems way far out there for me to believe... thanks.

Water works fine. Better not putting chemical substances!

When the vapor stop, there is just water on the coil and the atomaizer is perfectly cleaned...

Nicotine is soluble in water and in alcohol. It is better then not use chemical products.

I soak in alcohol for 10-15 mins then hot water bath. If it's not clean I repeat.
It seems to do the trick.
I tried the cola thing but it took much longer.

The cola or the lemon juice are corrosive and i thing that can corrode the coil...
Good water and/or alcohol. I do not wash the atomizer, just fill a cartdrige with water and "smoke" till vapor comes out.

Someone tried with bleach? Have you seen an used "Devid Ross" filter? It appears like the used coil!!! Only the bleach can clean it! I ask to myself: the e-cigarettes are really safe? What is the jelly that i see on the coil? It seems tar...

a natural way to clean almost anything is to soak in a solution of baking soda in warm / hot water - for about 15 minutes - agitate if necessary warm / hot rinse dry over night - I use this same method to clean my coffee maker works like magic

Sergiom--it is the same as using a clean pan to cook a steak once--if you do not clean it ---it is dirty. Same thing here. Cola simply is not a stong enough sovent as we have scene to break up the residue once it sets and hardens---Sun

Ok. but the coil seems impregnated of tar. if it is not tar, what is?

volevo dire, la bobina usata mi sembra impregnata della stessa sostanza che vedo nei microfiltri (bocchini) per le sigarette tradizionali. Se non è catrame, di cos'è impregnata la bobina? C'è qualcuno che parla italiano?
I ask: the brown jelly on the coil is tar or what???
