Too bad my first ecig isn't there, since it flew far away to the sky when I got mad at it long ago :))
To begin with, I'd like to thank users of this forum & some of my friends for helping out with all the bits & pieces of vaping when I bought my first kit. I bought my first kit some time ago, when vaping has just begun. That didn't help me to quit smoking at all, since I didn't know what to buy, is it good or bad, what I needed etc. I smoked 3 packs a day, so I needed atleast a 1000mah battery, reliable vaporizer & 3 to 5ml of eliquid a day. Instead, for me it all started with a 'mini' kit that looked exactly like the 'real deal', small batteries, I'm guessing 100 - 200mah. Tank held ~3 DROPS of eliquid & it was dry after 5 mins of vaping. I just got really mad, since that kit was $100, had just to throw it away & forget about spending that kind of money on ecigs till I knew what to buy, where to get it & what I really needed.
Some time passed & I did my research, a little bit. I got a Leo kit in 2010. I just knew that that battery should get me through the day, tank held enough juice to vape for approx. half an hour, so I was happy with my Leo for a few weeks. Then the atty died & I got back to smoking, because I didn't know where to get that kind of atomizer, I didn't (& I still don't) know what standard it was, it wasn't 510 or ego, so I had nowhere to get a replacement atty for that battery, since back then I didn't even shop online, I searched for everything in my local stores. After a year, I found ECF & spent a whole lot of time just reading through every post. The result - an ego twist kit, ordered it online (atlast), since none of the local stores had these. That's the point where I forgot about smoking, with my first vivi nova, 3 days after I started vaping & coped with all the withdrawals, cigarettes became something I didn't want to look at.
Now I'm on a vamo for some time & love rebuilding, experimenting with rebuildables, using different meshes, ropes, wires..
TIME FOR A MECH :2cool:
