I ordered the little kit thing from Avid Vapes ( 2 306 attys with the colored drip tip thing). Just picked it up outta the mail box!! Well, the colored drip tip thing won't fit on the 306 atty. I'm pushing, shoving, trying to screw it on....... It just won't fit.

What am I doing wrong here Reonauts?
Thanks in advance!
Jen

Well Mudflap,
That was quite an experience!

I think I broke the first one by flooding the heck out of it, because it won't even hit.
Then I dropped the 2nd one on the floor under my night stand & can't find it.
3rd one..........totally connected to the Reo Mini & vaping hardcore!

Honestly, IRL, I don't need this much "hand holding", I promise.
Thanks again!
Jen

Took me a while to figure those little buggers out too. They are different, but oh so worth it.

If you need more drip tips, Good Prophet has them for .99. Get the long straight ones because it minimizes the chance of getting hot juice in your mouth. I had to be extra careful with the regular length. Avidvapers has XL ones that are even longer than the Good Prophet longs, but they look a little goofy sticking up so far.

The heat of the atomizer makes the delrin stretch a bit overtime the way it hugs them so it doesn't hurt to get a few extras.

The first one might qualify for DOA. You should contact Avid. I hope you find the one under the night stand.

Thanks juicejunky!
I'm gonna check out GP for those, because i'm sure i'll be needing more.
I don't know......I probably should hook up the 1st atty to my multimeter to see what it says.........totally wouldn't hit though.
Is Avid good about standing behind their stuff if it's DOA?

taken from avidvaper.com on the cisco lr 306 2.0ohm product page
There is no warranty on these atomizers, every atomizer is metered out and is guaranteed to not be DOA.

I need a link to those at GP, because I can't seem to find them.

Here you go. 2nd one down 306 long straight

Drip Tips Metal or Delrin Plastic

Sorry someone got it already, site is so slow for me today.

I tried two of those Joye 306 LR. One was great and lasted only 4 days, the other wasn't as good heat wise. I've tried 4 Cisco 1.5s so far and they have been consistently good. One died at 2 weeks but I think I hit it dry by accident. I have two Cisco 306 2.0s, but they aren't doing it on my eGoT 1000 batteries. I may try the new 1.8s next order for the fruity juices that burn a little at 1.5. Either that or I need to go variable voltage.

I've found that I often have to de-wick the 306's if they get burnt-tasting. Easy to do - just use a toothpick or paper clip to push the wick out from under the bridge to one side, then gently pull it out with a tweezers.

I dewick all mine too when new, since I never plan to put a cart on them. It is pretty easy on most of them.

just put the 1st 306 on my multimeter, it's dead .
purchased at Avid Vapors, received today in the mail, never used, not a single time. I took the black plastic piece off as instructed, primed the atty, wouldn't hit in the Reo, wouldn't hit on the 510. Yep, this 1.5 306 atty from Avid was DOA.

The good 306 on multimeter reads 1.9

I just tweeted cisco ltd & sent a contact email through Avid Vapor's site.
so sad. Everyone raves & recommends these guys......so on my 1st order with them I get a DOA? I'm sorta sitting here like WTF. I ordered 4 total & the other 3 are ok. The sad thing is that I was gonna order some 2.0 ohms from them, and those colored tips tonight, because I can't find them anywhere else, BUT...........I'm not gonna order anything else from them unless they replace it at their shipping cost.

I'll sit here and vape with my old school 510's day and night & never have a single problem........ahahahahahahahaha

Sorry to hear you had a DOA. I have over 50 various Cisco's and never had one DOA. I meter all before placing them in the gear box. I use the LR 306 at 1.5 ohm mostly and have had super luck with the nHaler twisted and colored DT's. Sure they are a few dollars more than the cheap ones but the first one I got is 6 months old and still kicking. I now have 6 of those DT's in rotation. I would stay away from the ones w/blue color in them since the one I had with that color had a funky plastic taste. I have found the blacks and white based ones to be the best.

update on my DOA Avid 306 1.5 atty I contacted Avid via the contact page on their site, and also emailed them the same day I started this thread. That night, I received an email from Avid associate "Jessica", who was very pleasant and told me to return the atty, they will in turn return it to the manufacturer (cisco?). So, once they get a good one from their manufacturer, they will send me a good one back. Seems like a fair deal. It was a fast answer from Avid's customer service team.
