Columbus Day - The Hatred of VapeMail

There's a thread similar to this in the reosmods sub-forum but I was curious how it's affecting every vaper.

Because of this "holiday" USPS has come to a grinding halt and vapemail everywhere is sitting in warehouses, lonely, cold, and remaining un-vaped. Me presonally, I am waiting on a reo, some liquid, a couple atomizers, and a few non-vaping related things. All of this stuff will be delivered tomorrow because of the Columbus Day instead of today.

What are you waiting on that should have been delivered today? Or is there something that's getting delayed because of today?

I was expecting my iTaste MVP2 today. It's sitting in the sorting facility 20 minutes from my house. Very displeased. I'm seriously considering breaking in and snagging it. If it doesn't get delivered tomorrow I will be in full rampage mode. I guess you could say, I'd go postal

I have some flavorings just sitting at the sorting facility until finally tomorrow. I wanna mix my new flavors, darnit!!!

I hate to say it, but unless anyone else is waiting on a REO today, John_ has us all beat. Nothing else can compare.

ETA: Oh, and Turbo too. Not sure if it's either of your first REOs, but if it is, just let me say, it's worth the wait! Promise!

The USPS facility where all of my mail sits before it gets delivered to my house is literally on my way to and from work, I drive by it twice everyday.

if you think this is bad (i'm from Belgium, so i don't have any worries) wait for Chinese NewYear. Shipping stops for almost a month.

The only things I order from China anymore are bundles of batteries. The last of which should be coming in soon, hopefully I won't have to order anymore for awhile. The days of ordering clones, for me at least, are far behind.

Kind of hard to prepare for impulsive buys.

I just hope my mailman doesn't leave one of those damn pinks slips instead of putting my packages in the parcel box if they don't fit in the normal box.

Tracking says my package arrived at the local post office this morning at 7:14am. So that means SOMEONE was working.

I had it on 2 day shipping. Ordered the 8th, shipped the morning of the 9th. Should have had it Friday, Saturday at the latest.

USPS works 24/7 in different capacities. But, the carriers don't deliver on the national holidays.

Normally I get my vape mail the day after it reaches the sort facility which would've placed it in my hands this past Sat.
Imagine my look of sheer horror when the only thing i rec'd was the equivalent of a circular.

I was anxious for it b/c it's a FT shipment that only took 7 days from time of order.
With all the delays this was something to get excited about.
