same here, I can't wait...

I've never purchased from GV before, but man...that guy that's hating like there's no tomorrow has a serious issue. Seriously, you're taking out your frustration on the wrong guy. Business is business, This is the way of the world buddy, these products will be sold regardless of your opinion because there are people out there that will not, or can I say cannot afford to pay those premium prices.

Plenty of people who can afford it wouldn't pay it. I buy what I want, when I want. The penelope had my interest for a moment, as did the zap. I decided I can get a good vape without them. For now at least.

Its the Internet, we can all blame this on Al Gore. I let Al off the hook for Global Warming 'cus I know that's way overblown anyway but THIS...egads...

Anyway, the fella was a bit too agressive to be a disinterested party. I do believe we have someone who was sent or is trolling in general (all of his posts are pointed at complaining to us and one other vendor). Everyone in the USA and around the world winds up selling clones of whatever. For him to come in our forum and vent isn't fair but he probably does it because if a tree falls in our forum, its certainly heard - the owners are here constantly and there is alot of forum activity.

Those who make various rebuildables charge so much because they are not in a position to mass produce. They are doing things on a micro production envirnoment scale. What you are paying for mostly is their labor. Most of those who would want it can't really afford it or because it is sold on a by-order basis, they are hard to obtain. You can't begrudge the people that want to buy them or the vendors who sell them.

someones a little upset because the days of $150 atomizers is dying slowly. Thats how things work in this business. I feel for the orginal makers but I am not the cause of them being copied and i will sell what the people want, if china makes a similar product, I'm selling it.

oh and we will have the x atty which is a version of the z atty. i was shown it last night and ordered some

I doubt that.

I own a bunch of the really expensive genesis atty and hybrids + a lot of cheap china knock offs and theres a huge difference in quality.

I dont think clones/knock offs are a bad thing though (they offer a cheap way to see if rebuildable genesis type stuff is something for you, and I dont see anything wrong with that)

I would agree that the Chinese clones/copies are a cheap way of trying rebuildables, as long as the materials used are safe. I have tried one or two; which functioned well enough, but the metal used appeared to be plated brass rather than food grade ss. I have saved for the 'quality' rebuildables I've bought and will always be happy to save for a well made, well designed device.

If the materials used are up to spec then great, if they design their own attys even better

Agree 100%! I've been playing with a few chids (chinese did knock off) the last week. If I can ever get them mastered I may consider a higher end product. Of course there is going to be a difference in quality. You really do get what you pay for and I know that, but as a newbie into the rebuildable realm I just can't justify a weeks worth of groceries for a named brand when I may or may not even like it.

I was under the impression that brass needs to be heated quite a bit hotter than we push them to be dangerous? Honestly, I am quite unfamiliar with this area, but that is what I had gathered in what I have read.

On the other hand, I never really thought about the dangers of analogs.....

There are always going to be people who buy Ferraris, as well as people who will buy Kias. Both will get you from point A to point B. Provape is still selling a lot of 'Varis, even with the advent of the Lavatube and VMax. I suspect it will be the same with the knock off RBAs.
With RBAs, the end result is in the hands of the builder. A Zen isn't going to vape any better than a $20 Chid, if the builder doesn't know what he's doing.
