That was one of the questions I had when I was smoking outside a pub and was trying to explain some drunks what it is. I am vaping only for a week and the other comments I had ---

Go and do your fake smoking (my boss)
It looks like a lipstick (One male coworker)
No, it looks like a maskara (Another female coworker)

My PV is RIVA 510

What's the best way to put it to others??

I don't know as I don't vape out in public much I haven't had too many comments. I guess I'd just explain it as a nicotine inhaler. My husband did tell me that it looked like I was sucking on a small clarinet all day long. LOL.

Every time I sit in the smoke area at work I hear how smokers want to quite! The I tell them how I am completely satisfied with vaping a real P.V. Riva 510! I tell them how it is used what it contains and offer them a hit from it. I have to know them for that.

They all get the same look on their faces.They are surprised at how much flavor and vapor it provides. Then I give them the web address to Crystal Clear Vaping,Liberity-flights and the ecf ! If they want reviews for juice or equipment I point them to my favorite reviewer Pbrusardo on you-tube "love his style" !

I am new to this but I read alot and can make an informed recommendation PV,VG,PG nic level battery mah,cartos,attys,cartomizers or drip tips.So I really should make up some cards.Good luck to you congratulations on your vaping choice!

I'm never big on explaining things to people to convince them of anything. But when I get rude comments like that from a smoker, I just ask when was the last time they woke up without coughing. Then I tell them I just did this morning. If that piques their interest, I'll hand them a card and go about my business. I'm not normally a grumpy person, I just prefer to point people in the right direction rather than standing on a pulpit

No negativity here either...yet. But I did have a delivery guy come in to the office about an hour ago while I was takin' a toot off my SP3. He got all excited and asked if he could "hit it." When I told him it was a modified Ecig he got all depressed and slinked away. Not sure what he thought it was...

i tell the unfriendlys that its a humidifier, and i have acute dry lung syndrome. If i dont inhale it then i can easily get infected and end up in the hospital, and that anyone who tells me to stop is liable for putting my life at risk. just for a good laugh.

just tell people its steam with some nicotine in it. easy simple and to the point.
