Hi Arnie,

Good work on reaching 100 recipes. Just wondering though if any one is interested in the actual colours of the liquids. Most mixes I have ever created have been colourless to a pale yellow. I would really like to be able to produce a tobacco mix with a burnt orange colour (similar to boba's bounty for example). Obviously, I would have to achieve this with the standard ingredients that most of us use - certainly not interested in adding any tomato sauce with a dash of worcester! Any help would be much appreciated.

This is what I attempted to do for the first time with my Vampyre recipe (which turned out great BTW). Most concentrates that are clear in color probably indicate the absence of artificial colors. Some are naturally colored (vanilla is dark, etc.). LorAnn Super Strength often uses artificial color, so perhaps try adding some of their orange, burnt orange looking flavors. While I was trying for red with my Vampyre, the best I could manage was light pink. But thats fine. Aside from the LorAnn apple (which is clear), I only use them (LA Super Strength) sparingly, because I prefer natural colors. But you can also add food grade artificial color directly if you desire. Anything with bright neon colors is generally a dead giveaway that artificial color is present in the juice.

Apart from using NET which would be too easy.

I've been making the rwhy4 recipe that is posted in the tfa recipe section, and i'm not sure which flavor is doing it,but it turns a dark orange color.I heat steep it in hot water 2 times, and it will start to turn right after that, then after about a week it is a nice deep orange.Like i said, not sure if it's 1 of the cream flavors or the double ry4 though, although i think it may be the ry4,as i also have asian ry4 with nothing else added that turned nearly the same color.

A lot of the tobacco flavor concentrates I've come across seem to be light brown in color. With steeping, as mentioned, it could turn a burnt orange color.

Cap French Vanilla v2 at 3% when mixed with nic will turn orange after a few days.
Vanilla is sometimes used with tobacco flavors, but, it may turn into a "Tobacco Ice Cream":D
