i am really curious to hear if people would compare flavors from vendors like drcrimmy or mt baker vapor to brands like cyclops, 9 south vapes, anml, and other "premium" juice brands.

i've been vaping nothing but brands that are well known like the ones i listed and i am thinking about trying places like drcrimmy or others, but i really don't want to waste my money =X

i understand that taste is subjective, but i would really love to hear everyone's subjective opinions!!!!!

thanks :)

For the first few months all I purchased was premium liquid. Its a shame because my starter kit wasn't doing the liquid justice, so I decided to upgrade. This way, I could really taste everything. What I learned is that it made the cheaper juices taste better too. Beard Vape Co. and Ripe Vapes are my two favorite eliquid brands, but they are pricey. To make do, I order from ITCVapes since a 120ml bottle costs about the same as a 30ml bottle from Ripe Vapes.

Premium- expensive labels and fancy glass bottles.

Maybe I can't find that flavor elsewhere but what's premium are they using pg extracted from angel tears? Or have little Greek chicks in togas stomping the tobacco leaves in a wooden vat for extract?

No offense to anyone but juice pricing is already a scam calling it premium just empties your wallet even quicker

@thrasher

what flavors from the cheaper brands would you consider to be as good/better than cerial killa by 9 south, carnage by anml, and poseidon by cyclops vapor?

i'm just curious as those are my current 3 favorite flavors and i would really like to save money if i can. i find that i've tried some cheaper cereal flavors and they just don't even compare to ck so i'm having a hard time finding the good places to get cheap flavors that are actually comparable to "premium" brands

Well, one of my all-time favorites is "Deadly Sin" from GoodLifeVapor. But Mount Baker's "Cinnamon Roll" is something I like about as much. It's not the same (MBV has more cinnamon and more roll; GLV's is more complex and a bit sweeter - supposedly has tobacco flavor in there too, but I don't taste it). But I enjoy both of them. ITC has some great flavors, at great prices. Hangsen Juicy Peach is well-liked at my house, and many of the Hangsen, Liqua, and Dekang flavors are good (although simple) flavors.

I've bought a bunch of e-liquid I didn't particularly care for (including some of the GoodLife stuff, but also from other vendors at about the same prices as GLV). GLV is kind of "mid-premium", not as expensive as some, but still not the cheap stuff. (And their "Black Fairy" is to die for if you like absinthe/anise/licorice type flavors!)

But there's a lot of great e-liquids out there, at not bad prices. Try small bottles; don't fall into the trap of buying the larger ones (because they're cheaper per ml) until you find ones you like. Look for sales and coupons.

Most of all, though, I would echo Brandon's comment. Nothing tastes good on a crappy head/wick. Make sure your setup is doing the juices justice before you go on your juice hunt, and you'll save yourself a lot of grief and money!

Hi,
I am new here, first post.
What is premium for me is:
1.- The flavor is true to its name (if applicable)
2.- The flavor remains constant through time
3.- There is some type of guarantee of controls when manufacturing, this is the worrying part...how do you know what is really in it?
4.- The flavor....has "depth"

But I find that flavors are very relative to many factors, including what you were vaping before, if you just ate something, if one just woke up... I find that to get the real flavor when trying something new I need to first go through some mint light flavor to clean the palate before starting something different.
Also....the atomizer is critical, with a bad atomizer there is no good flavor of anything.

I will readily admit I am the wrong person to ask for juice advice. I m not a flavor junkie and make my own, costs me 16 bucks a pint for my caramel candy and double ry4's and half the time I vape unflavored for a real smoking feel.

I don't care if its 5 bucks a bottle I can't bring myself to buy premade juice after I see what it costs to make it. I have zero interests in these crazy flavors. Nothing against anybody but if I want frootloops I'll get a bowl of fruit loops lol

Like I said I do not mean to sound harsh, but I'm at a loss trying to understand all this flavor chasing people do.

anyone else have any suggestions?

I think the term "premium" is subjective. I buy juice, and lately I've gotten into DIY. I'm a flavor chaser :) I buy primarily from Vapewild and Greenman Ejuice. Vapewild has low prices, tons of flavors to choose from, and pretty decent juice. Greenman costs a little more, but not much. I also pick up bottles of "premium" juice here and there. Honestly, I can't tell the difference between the quality of most "premium" juices and cheaper juices such as Vapewild, and my DIY peach vanilla ice cream. The major difference is, I know my peach vanilla ice cream is made at my desk while I watch tv. I really have no idea where vapewild, greenman, or any other vendor makes their juice and have to take their word for it that it's made in a clean room with top notch ingredients.

If you want to expand your juice dollar, check out Vapewild, ITCvapes, and some of the other lower costs vendors. My two all time favorite flavors are Athena from Cyclops and Dr. Hood's Toffee Delight from Friend or Faux. But at 20+ dollars a bottle, I can't afford to vape them as an ADV. That's why I have a ton of Vapewild and started DIY.

I vote ITC Vapes. Some of their stuff is good FOOB and others need a good steep. Excellent juice for the price though.

Another vote for ITCVapes, I also get a few 60 and 120 ml bottles from Vape Joose. Their Strawberries and Cream is amazing. It's like strawberry Yoplait yogurt.

on the Vapewild.com note, if sub homing be very careful with there flavor boost unless you want a really strong flavor.IMO the sample pack I got from them with flavor boost was over the top.

Was the flavor boost too strong only in an RDA? Or a tank too?

I don't have any desire to get into the DIY area but I've tried to stay away from the "premium" anything.

I've had a lot of people tell me through the grape vine that they're not a favorite but I've made a purchase from Zeus Juice and really enjoyed their flavors. They took about a week to get the order out but they all had great flavor (Although I did not like every flavor).. My favorite one from them was Mrs. Z's SMC which was strawberry, melon, and koolada (I'm a no nictone, no menthol person) and the koolada is like a cooling agent. There was something about that one that was addicting and I could easily see it becoming a daily vape.

I really don't see what a "Premium" Juice has to offer - it's all PG / VG / and Flavoring at the end of the day right . . ? Until there's one that glitters or glows in the dark or creates colored clouds -- I'll just stick with the cheap stuff.

i've personally tried tons of mt baker vapor flavors and i can't help but taste some kind of cheap chemically taste from almost every single one of their flavors : / i feel like every vendor (premium or not) has 1-3 really good flavors and then the rest is just average AT BEST. I guess i'm just really trying to find out which cheaper vendors are good AND what specific flavors are actually the best from each vendor. I don't want to just get flavors that sound good from a vendor, because they usually aren't. there are just some flavors that 90% of people that can agree are good and i'd love to hear which flavors those are from which vendors ^.^

carnage by anml is an insane liquid and worth every penny :)

OK I am full of it but carnage is really good. Premium liquid to me is a scam pretty much like thasher said but if people are willing to pay the price then they can charge what they please. There has to be something said for the time put it to experimenting to get the right flavor and then consistently producing it over time. All that being said $20+ for a 30ml bottle is outrageous!

Cheaper liquid is subjective, does it mean anything less then the premium price of $22 for 30mls? If so Highbrow Vapoors Peach Thymbra for $15 is a pretty dame good liquid.

Someone mention GLV Deadly Sin (outstanding liquid) and I would add their Shockwave, Red Headed ...., Panty Dropper and I would have said their YoPlay Parlay but it's not on the site anymore.

It was in my atlantis at the time. Truth be told it was also 50/50, it was the first order in my subohm setup. I tried adding around 10ml of just vg to the 10ml 50/50. And it was still strong. I'm thinking the flavor boost was the primary cause but the flavors could also be at fault.
