Brilliant idea, Kellyinbr!

While there may be slight color variations, no one seeing a mock-up could possibly say, "Wow, that's nothing like I expected."

PD wizards, brace for a flood of requests! :D

Michael
I think they turned out wonderfully, I could not be happier. I thought that people would like to see the comparisons all in one spot. I think it shows just how good Jeff is! and how good the Mock up guys are!!

Really nice. Love how you get a really good sense of how it will look from the mock-ups but Jeff's touches when dealing with the actual, 3-dimensional item just make it pop (like the underlying color of the Chuck in the second one.)

Is that a quilt detail?
the color or the finished chuck in the second pic is bronze, I think it looks great with the image, i wanted to pick a color that wouldn't take away from the image and I think I picked a winner....And yes it is a quilt, my hobby is quilting, and all the pictures on it represent things that I LOVE! MM made it for me and I LOVE him for it!!

Thanks for posting Kelly, it's helpful to see the differences. The more of these before/afters that are posted the easier it is to adjust the before to more closely match the after.

Question, the final Chuck has a definate purple tint to what was originally the darker areas. Is this due to the base color not being black (and thus the unlying color mixed with the decal looks more purple than black)? Or did you have Jeff add purple or change something?

I ask b/c I'm trying to figure out what could be changed with the mock-ups to better represent the finished product. Maybe the base color is very important as there's bleedthru? I assumed the printed decal was opaque but now I'm wondering if maybe there's a certain mount of transparency?

The color is a little muted but overall a very nice look. Now get to vaping them! :)

I didnt change anything about the image, that is how it came out, maybe the chuck color itself has something to do with it, but I am very happy with the outcome
