well, I've never found references to 3,4,5,6 etc hours of vaping very helpful especially for new users. It's very subjective.

So I just counted puffs on my Smokeless Image Volt batteries. It's still subjective (you can have longer or shorter puffs) and here's what I get (with standard cartos):

320mah 78mm battery - 150-180 puffs
650mah X2 battery - 350-400 puffs
900mah x2 battery - 510-580 puffs

Now, vaping is not the same as smoking but a (very) rough estimate is 15 ecig puffs = 1 analogue cigarette. So if u smoke 10 cigaretes per day or less - 1 78mm battery may last a whole day for you (but 2 definitely will).

If you get the Volt or any of the small cigarette size units, I would recommend the manual version (where you have a push a button) rather than the automatic version (where it is activated by drawing on it). The manual version is a sealed battery that won't be affected by leaking juice. It will take you about 10 minutes to get used to the manual version. No biggie.

Sitting down, facing forward.
Volt automatic batteries are sealed as well, so leaks, generally unless really large, are not a problem. In that case a manula would probably have trouble as well. The automatic battery mimics a cigarette a little better, allows "no hands" vaping and also doesn't get turned on by accident in your pocket as a manual can.

this info is outdated. While some vendors still have old-fashioned automatic mini batteries in stock, most already sell sealed. But of course, it's a good idea to check just in case. Sealed - great, not sealed - not so great (some people still like them).

But in any case all Volt automatics are sealed now
