Hi.
You are probably going to tell me i have done the wrong thing, but have just purchased a White Super (10cm) E.Cig from the Electronic Cigarette Store with Some high (18mg) E.Liquid.

Have been on 50 B+H analogs a day for the last 30 years (I know it's frightening!) but I am trying to replicate that nicotine level and taste, is 18mg enough do you think?

The reason I went for the Super E.Cig, is from what I can gather, it seems to be one of the nearest in size to an analog, which is important to me as I have had a cig of some sort in my hand, for the last 30 years and thought this would ease the transition. Never tried to stop before.

What are your thoughts?

I was very similar - 50+ B&H and purchased the super-mini. Although it got me off the B&H, I was very soon frustrated....

Having been through this, I would recommend the Mini (DSE-901) and 18/24mg will be about right. I would also recommend staying with tobacco flavours - I have done the sweet stuff, but can't stand it now. Although my favourite is Janty Cappucino :p

I have a Screwdriver (901), Janty Stick (801), Kissbox (801) & Titan (510) - and I use them all at some time or another, but still find myself using the DSE-901 (SD or Passthrough) most of the time because of the taste/vapour ratio...

I made a 510 to 901 converter for a Titan passthrough and use this most of the time. I think someone now sells these.

When I am out, it is the SD (901) & JS (801)....bigger batteries.

The key is having reliable power - the standard e-cig batteries are pap.

Hope that helps...

Hi Guys.
Thanks very much for your iinput, my super E-Cig arrived at 10.00 this morning, have already tried the teabag cart filler, Seems to work better if you use the "concertina" method rather than the "rolling".

The nicotine hit seems to be more than analogue, although I was on 50 B+H a day I don't draw deeply on the cig, with the ecig it would appear you need to have a pretty deep drag to fire up the atty, bit dissapointed with vapour volume.

Anyway have been analogue free for just under 4 hours now !!!

Cheers.

Hey mate you're using the wrong model if you're looking for vapor production, check out some mods. They are expensive but delivery a more cost effective method for e-smoking, and with the throat hit you get you'll feel like you're smoking an analog, however if you just want something that looks like a regular cig then they're not for you.

You'll soon get over that clinging to a 'real cigarette' look and start wanting more vapour, taste and throat hit. If you're like a lot of us you'll end up with something akin to a torch or a screwdriver hanging out of your mouth.
If I was starting a fresh with the knowledge I have now then I'd be getting a screwdriver or a Prodigy.
Click either link.
Prodigy
Screwdriver
The Prodigy seems to be always out of stock so you'd probably have to pre-order that.

Wow, guess I never got the hang of smoking, could only average 25/day with peaks of 40/day.
So that's costing you over £5000 per year ( the way I see it £4000 of that is tax)
With that kind of cash you can buy all the toys.
I have found that the biggest batteries and pass-throughs are the most help, I need something that's always there for me.
The cigarette style is unreliable and fussy -so when relying on it -I need about 3 with me -to feel secure. I put this down to the batteries, which have a mind of their own.
If you're trying to switch straight to vaping only (like me 3+ mnths) this becomes very important. However if you just going for tobacco reduction, you may find cigarette style enough and enough to get down to 5 analogs/day.
Either way you'll need to budget £100/month for e-cigs for the first few months. Once you can see that coming off the tobacco then you can put up with the cost of replacements and the health benefits are gratis.

Hi Guys.
Have now been off analogue for 4 days and realised that you treat an ecig totally different from analogue. find that the ecig on 18mg liquid (seem to have settled on liberty flights B+H, tried the flavoured, not keen) gives me a much greater nicotine hit than the real thing, I am finding that I take a deep vap about every 10 mins, rather than puffing away on an analogue.

One problem I have encountered is having a ciggy was like a measurement of time "oh I’ll just have a smoke before I do this", which does not apply with the ecig, it's just always there, have tried to replicate this by having 2-3 good drags on the ecig which feels about the same as smoking one B+H.

birdbrain.
Fortunately the analogue smoking was not costing me that much as I purchased my B+H in Spain, the only problem I have now, is what to do with 6,000 B+H I probably will not smoke?

Cheers.
